PostSubject: Sites Visited   Sites Visited EmptyFri Jul 06, 2012 12:54 am

I though it might be interesting for members to list as many site visits as they can remember. I understand that those who have been doing this for many years are going to have a harder job than the member who started last month but even just the best sites people have been to would be interesting to see. I will get us started with those I can recall:

In no particular order...

St Mary's Asylum
Newcastle Leadworks
Gateshead College
Hawthorne Leslie Shipyard
Loudoun Castle Theme Park
St Peters Seminary
Ushaw Moor Seminary
Roselynlee Hospital
Bangour Village Hospital
Steetley Magnasite
Cerberos Factory
Marley Tiles
Seaton Deleval Mausoleum
Eddingham Munitions Factory
Byker Culvert
Harperley PoW Camp
SWS House
St Peter's School
Durham Baths
Victoria Tunnel
Mandate Clothing Factory
Pinewoods Nursing Home
Walkergate Hospital

+ Possibly others but that is all i can remember right now. Lets see where you others have been...

My God! I know you were into your bunkers but that is absolutely crazy mate. I didn't even think there were 150 ROC posts left! Nice effort!

Er... let's have a think.

Tunstall Court
Durham Baths
Ushaw College
Easington WMC
Dalton Pumping Station
Pinewoods Nursing Home
Steetley (probably doesn't count, the place was pretty much flattened)
Hebburn Shipyard
Marley Tiles
Tanfield Industrial Estate Skills Centre
Beckworth Colliery
Newcastle Leadworks
St George's... didn't get in... must revisit.
Outbuilding at St Mary's, unsure of its use, appeared to be extra wards

I think that's all of them.

None taken. Only real point is that some may find it interesting and it can act as a bit of an introduction and get some conversation going. Not compulsory if you don't want to post mate. Smile
